Our Ragdolls
Ragdolls make terrific pets for families with young children and elderly people. If you have a busy life that keeps you away from home a lot, I recommend adopting 2 kittens so they can keep each other company while you are absent.
Ragdolls are one of the largest cat breeds around. It is not uncommon for male, neutered Ragdolls to weigh up to 10KG, Females slightly less up to about 7kg. Also, Ragdolls continue to grow and mature till they are around 4 years old.
All Ragdolls kittens are born completely white, their colours begin to show from 2 days - 14 days of age.
Ragdolls come in a range of colours - traditionally seal and blue. In recent years, Lilac and Chocolate have become popular. Their patterns include colourpoint, mitted, bicolour, lynx (tabby), tortie & tortbie. All equally stunning in their own rights.
Due to many Ragdolls being unable to defend themselves in threatening situations, Ragdolls cats must be INDOORS at all times. I recommend if your Ragdoll is outside, safe cat enclosures or being under adult supervision will ensure your Ragdoll is safe and secure, while still enjoying the great outdoors.
Ragdoll coats can vary in thickness and hair type. The average Ragdoll hair is fairly thick, and very soft to the touch. The length of the fur can be medium to long. They usually do a good job of grooming themselves, and don't require excessive brushing. It is a good idea to brush them a couple of times a week to prevent matting of the fur.
Ragdoll Kittens are priced from $1250.
All vet work & inclusions can be found on our AVAILABLE page.
